Redesigned for 2013 the Ford DFW Escape was listed as a Best Compact SUV for the Money from U.S. News and World Reports. The magazine includes the small crossover many advances to include technology features such as the motion-activated lift gate. I for one am enamored with the idea of a motion-activated lift gate. All too often I am fighting with my keys and rearranging bulky items so that I can open up the backend of my SUV. I will be the first to admit that I’d campaign for almost anything that allowed me to a bit lazier.

The rejuvenated Ford Ft. Worth Escape took this aging mid-pack SUV and brought it back; front and center. The Escape’s 2013 redesign wasn’t all-cosmetic it included an increasein fuel efficiency, performance and comfort.
